The company was started its business in 1992 and joint venture agreement was signed in August,1993.Honda motors started its business as a motorcycle manufacturer but Soichiro Honda wanted to challenge the opportunity of small car market.Honda became the first Japanese car manufacturer to build a plant in the united states because, it had already build up a world's strongest motorcycle division.
